Do you know a Digital Government superstar working at National Defence? If you answered yes to that question - nominate them for a 2021 Digital Government Community Award!

What is a “Digital Government superstar”, you ask? Well, it is someone that that meets one or more of the eleven (11) Digital Government Community Award nomination categories listed below:

  1. Judy Booth Award for Excellence in Access to Information and Privacy (ATIP)
  2. Excellence in User Focused Service Delivery
  3. Excellence in Community Development
  4. Excellence in Diversity and Inclusion
  5. Excellence in Innovation
  6. Excellence in Open Government
  7. Excellence in Product Management
  8. Excellence in Security Management
  9. GC CIO Special Merit Award – Outstanding Digital Leadership
  10. The Anja van Beek Throop Hidden Gem Award
  11. Excellence in Living the Digital Standards

Nominations must be received by the Corporate Awards and Recognition Secretariat (CARS) no later than March 17, 2021. Please contact your L1 Awards & Recognition Coordinator (accessible only on the National Defence network) for internal L1 deadlines.

About The Digital Government Community Awards

They are formerly known as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) Community Awards, and they acknowledge and honour excellence in a variety of programs and initiatives within the Government of Canada Chief Information Officer Community.

The awards are open to any team or individual (excluding contractors) working within the Government of Canada. Team members must have been CAF members, or civilian employees during the fiscal year 2020-21. Team nominations may include partners from other federal departments, as applicable. Please note that a maximum of 15 certificates are allocated per team.
