What is Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR)? Once enrolled, it allows you to reset your DWAN password yourself without having to call your IT Service Desk for assistance.

Why should I enrol in SSPR? It is the fastest, easiest, and most secure way to reset your password, so you can get back to your work as soon as possible.

When can I enrol? Deployed by ADM(IM), SSPR is currently being rolled out to Defence Team members, and will be available for all DWAN accounts on Department of National Defence and Canadian Armed Forces (DND/CAF) issued computers. Keep an eye out for a notification inviting you to enroll in SSPR. You need to enrol before you forget your password, so enrol as soon as it’s available!

We encourage all Defence Team members to enrol in SSPR as it becomes available. This is your chance to save valuable time for yourself and for the Defence Team!
