Civilian Employees: Update to Disability Insurance Plan Benefits and New Collective Agreements

The Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat has updated the disability insurance (DI) plan benefits as a result of new collective agreements. Read the full update for more information.
As stated in the update, Sun Life has begun implementing the second wave of the DI plan benefit and rehabilitation earnings adjustments for eligible members to reflect the annual salary increase in their 2018 collective agreements.
These adjustments may affect eligible plan members who are, or were, in receipt of disability benefits from Sun Life under the DI plan.
