Facilitating the Recruitment of Permanent Residents in the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF)

Description

Beginning in January 2025, DND/CAF and Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) began sharing personal information about Permanent Residents (PR) who have expressed an interest in joining the CAF. The information exchanged will be used for the sole purpose of facilitating the enrollment and security screening of PRs and to expedite their onboarding to the CAF.

Personal information will be used for (or is intended to be used as part of) a decision-making process that may directly affect the individuals to whom the information belongs.
