  1. TC - Initial Appointment (Optional)
  2. Unit - Unit Retention Interview
  3. TC - Personalized Transition Plan (Optional)
  4. Release Section - Preliminary check of your file (Optional)
  5. Individual Career and Education Counselling (Optional)
  6. VAC - Create My VAC Account online
  7. Verify with Family Services for transition support (MFRC/FTA)
  8. SISIP - Life Insurance and Finances (Optional)
  9. CFIRP - Intended Place of Residence, Confirm eligibility with the Release Section (Optional)
  10. Release Section - Initial Appointment
  11. TC - Follow-up Personalized Transition Plan (Optional)
  12. Pension - Order Package (1-800-267-0325), 6-8 weeks prior to release date
  13. VAC - Transition Interview
  14. Unit - Confirm unit agreement for protected period of last 30 days
  15. Unit - Departure with Dignity event with Unit
  16. Unit and QM - Return of Military Equipment
  17. Dental - Release Appointment (Optional)
  18. Medical - Phase 1 and 2 Release Appointment
  19. Unit and Base - Out-Clearance
  20. Release Section - Final Appointment (usually same as Date of Release (DOR))
  21. Request a copy of your file (Pers, Dental and Medical) - 45 days after DOR
