27.01 - ESTABLISHMENT OR CLOSURE
The establishment and administration of messes, canteens and institutes, including the suspension and closing thereof, shall be as prescribed by the Chief of the Defence Staff.

27.07 - AUDIT OF NON-PUBLIC PROPERTY ACCOUNTS
The accounts of non-public property shall be audited in the manner and at the intervals prescribed by the Chief of the Defence Staff, but not less frequently than once annually.

27.38 - ADMINISTRATIVE DEDUCTIONS - OVERDUE NON-PUBLIC ACCOUNTS
Where a mess, canteen or institute account owed by an officer or non-commissioned member is overdue, the commanding officer may order that the member concerned be subject to an administrative deduction in an amount sufficient to pay the account in full.
