Mission and mandate

The Military Personnel Command (MILPERSCOM) is always ready to support, manage, and empower the men and women who serve in our armed forces. We play a vital role in ensuring personnel readiness, welfare, and career development to meet the demands of both domestic and international missions.

Our responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• managing career progression and personnel records for service members at every stage of their military journey;
• administering benefits and support programs that safeguard the well-being of military personnel and their families;
• coordinating deployment, mobilization, and demobilization efforts to maintain a state of readiness for all missions;
• providing counseling and transition services to assist military members in planning their careers and life after service; and
• delivering training and professional development programs to cultivate leadership and operational excellence.

Through these efforts, the MILPERSCOM ensures that our armed forces remain capable, resilient, and ready to fulfill their mission in defense of our nation and its interests.
