Dress with a Difference for NDWCC 2026
Civilian Dress December:
Every day from 1 to 31 December 2026

Get ready to celebrate the season with spirit and style! Dress with a Difference is back this December, and it's fancier than ever! Whether you're military or civilian, this is your chance to show off your festive flair and join in on the fun.
Rules:
Each L1 must provide authorization for CAF members under their command to participate in this event.
Button(s) must be visible, (ex: on lanyard). Civilian Defence Team Members are welcome to participate!
Suggested Themes:
Each week brings a new theme to keep the energy high and the creativity flowing. From cozy classics to quirky costumes, there’s something for everyone. Weekly themes include:
- 1-4 December 2026: “Through the Decades” – Dress in the trends from your favorite decade.
- 7-11 December 2026: “Game Day” – Wear your favorite team’s jersey.
- 14-18 December 2026: “Festive best” – Show us your best holiday party outfit/holiday glam.
- 21-25 December 2026: “The Ugly Sweater” – Dress in the ugliest holiday sweater you own.
- 28-31 December 2026: “Shine into the New Year” – Wear your favorite metallics, sequin or sparkly outfit.
Cost:
Buttons can be purchased at a cost of $25 each.
*Buttons do not meet the eligibility criteria for a tax receipt.
How to Participate:
- Purchase your Button – Buttons will be distributed to each L1.
- Pay in cash to your team’s Ambassador, or;
- Make an online payment.
- Wear It Proudly – Your button is your proof of participation.
- Join the Fun – Dress in civilian clothing and/or dress up in the listed themes and help spread the spirit!
- Share Your Spirit – Please share pictures of your team’s participation to the NDWCC Core Team , they will post them on the NDWCC website.
Print or email your proof of purchase to your team’s ambassador to collect your button.
