Tax Treaty negotiations with Australia

Negotiations to update the tax treaty between Canada and Australia will commence in June 2026.
The purpose of this notice is to ensure that any interested persons have an opportunity to inform the Government of any issues that might be addressed in the course of the negotiations. The Government is particularly interested in learning of any difficulties encountered by Canadians under the Australian tax system.
