Department of Finance Canada: Web archiving and retention policy
Archived content
When a new version of a publication or report is released, earlier versions are marked as archived and are no longer updated. As a result, archived content may not meet current Government of Canada web standards.
Content retention policy
We retain publications and reports on our website for a minimum of five years following their publication date to preserve for reference purposes. We also periodically remove older content during website cleanups. Removed content can still be accessed through the following services:
