Restorative Opportunities 2023 to 2024
CSC's Restorative Opportunities Program offers victim-offender mediation services in all regions across Canada.
Victim-offender mediation services may include communication that is face-to-face, in writing, as part of a circle process, or video messages.
Of the offenders who participated in a face-to-face dialogue, 91% have not committed a new offence.
The program has received over 3175 referrals for victim-offender mediation services.
There have been over 503 facilitated face-to-face dialogues between victims and offenders.
