It’s about helping people. Taking care of other human beings. And a responsibility we take to heart.
It’s about becoming better people. Through rehabilitation. So if they return to our communities, they are safer than ever before.
It’s about being trained to save lives. Many come to us with needs. We work with them and try to set them on a better path.
It’s about fighting crime from the inside. It’s about de-escalating situations. And when needed, standing up to violence.
Because behind these fences and walls, we work hard and are proud to be about Service. Teamwork. Education. And a chance to change lives while protecting Canadians.
It’s a hard job but we’re proud to do it.
