There is no doubt that Canada’s correctional system is closely tied to the judicial bodies and legal framework that govern our society. By studying the various aspects of the correctional system, students will gain a better understanding of the various roles, social justice issues, rights and responsibilities, as well as develop their ability to analyze legal issues.
