  • Audit types have been expanded and timeframes for their completion have been added to policy direction.
  • Interim policy direction on Canadian Police Information Centre check procedures have been incorporated into the Commissioner’s Directive.
  • A new annex has been created to provide details on the various types of releases and when offenders are eligible to be released, based on where the offender is located, what their status is, and when the release is to occur. Wording has also been added to provide clearer direction on duties.
