COURTS MARTIAL - COVID 19
11 TO 31 MAY 2020

1. Considering the situation related to
the COVID-19 virus, the directives issued
by the federal government and the Chief of
Defense Staff, I direct to the Court Martial
Administrator to cancel all convening
orders for courts martial to be held between
11 and 31 May 2020.

2. However, any other judicial hearing
may be held in accordance with the military
judge’s discretion who is assigned to
preside at the hearing, pursuant to the
limitations imposed by the present context,
including any means allowing the involved
parties to engage in simultaneous visual and
oral communications.
