Canada Media Fund

The Canada Media Fund will administer a portion of the Changing Narratives Fund in focusing on equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility initiatives within Canada's audiovisual industry. These investments will support a range of activities, including mentorship, training, and work placements, to provide creators, organizations and companies the industry opportunities they need to tell their stories.

The Canada Media Fund (CMF) supports the creation of popular, innovative Canadian content and software applications. The CMF receives contributions from the Government of Canada and Canada’s cable, satellite and Internet Protocol television (IPTV) distributors.

The CMF is a not-for-profit corporation that supports the Canadian television and digital media industries through several programs.
