Canadian producers applying for audiovisual coproduction certification

An audiovisual treaty coproduction is a feature film or television production that has been created by pooling creative technical and financial resources of Canadian and foreign producers. These projects must be completed in accordance with the terms of an audiovisual coproduction treaty signed between the partnering countries.

How to apply

Producers who plan to undertake a coproduction that is recognized as an audiovisual treaty coproduction must apply to Telefilm Canada at the earliest stage possible to ensure that their projects meet all necessary treaty requirements.
