Anniversaries of significance in Canada
Over the next few years, Canadians will be invited to celebrate more milestones of our history as well as outstanding figures from all backgrounds who have helped make our country so inclusive and open to the world.
Canadians are encouraged to celebrate anniversaries of historical significance for Canada. The Commemorate Canada program provides funding to initiatives that are specifically designed to commemorate and celebrate historical figures, places, events and accomplishments of national significance.
