Environmental response and new equipment
We’re able to better protect our oceans with new equipment and increased capacity through the Oceans Protection Plan. Bases in Newfoundland and Labrador, Northwest Territories, British Columbia, and Prince Edward Island have received new environmental response equipment, with more to come.

Coast Guard bases across Canada are receiving new environmental response equipment to contain and clean up spills and tow kits to help ships in distress.
