North Atlantic Coast Guard Forum
The North Atlantic Coast Guard Forum is an organization that brings together representatives from several North Atlantic countries. They discuss matters related to maritime safety and security and include the following groups:
- technical working group
- search and rescue
- maritime security
- fisheries enforcement
- environmental response
- drug trafficking
An operational component of the Forum is the annual GUARDEX table top exercise. This exercise brings together responders from member countries to test their cooperation and learn from each other’s best practices.
