2024-25 Gender-based analysis plus
Introduction
In 2018, Parliament passed the Canadian Gender Budgeting Act. The departmental plans and departmental results reports are being used to fulfill the President of the Treasury Board’s obligations to make public, every year, analysis on the impacts of expenditure programs on gender and diversity.
Each organization is responsible for conducting their own Gender-based Analysis Plus (GBA Plus) analysis.
Applicability
All organizations must complete GBA Plus supplementary information tables in departmental plans and departmental results reports on an annual basis.

Governance
The ATSSC is committed to exploring GBA Plus to assess how different women, men and gender diverse people may experience policies, programs, and initiatives.
The ATSSC will work with its GBA Plus Champion, the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) Champion, and the EDI Committee to promote and support various GBA Plus and EDI initiatives.
Capacity
The ATSSC will develop its GBA Plus capacity during the 2024 to 2025 fiscal year by exploring useful tools and resources, and identifying systems, operations, and policies that may benefit from GBA Plus.
Highlights of GBA Plus Results Reporting by Program
The ATSSC programs do not collect sufficient data to enable it to monitor or report program impacts by gender and diversity according to the Government of Canada’s GBA+ process.
Plans to develop and provide data collection and reporting capacity on GBA Plus will be explored to inform decision-making.
